I have a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field, but I am considering a career change. I’ve researched Accountancy and am very interested in this field. The only thing I’m concerned about right now is that I hear entry level job competition is fierce. How bad is it?
Also, I am considering taking the required Accounting classes to sit for the CPA at a community college. It is accredited. How negatively would this affect my chances of landing jobs in the field?
